For Siemens Energy we are currently seeking a

Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

for an 18-month assignment starting in January 2026 to ensure the qualification, performance and continuous improvement of suppliers for auxiliary systems used in gas turbines, steam turbines and generators.

Aufgaben

  • Support supplier qualification by assessing capabilities and performing quality system and process audits
  • Oversee product and process qualification throughout the full PPQ and approve Manufacturing Quality Control Plans
  • Conduct source, virtual, or desk inspections of components and auxiliary system suppliers
  • Manage supplier nonconformances, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor supplier KPIs, plan quality and development measures, and facilitate qualification status meetings

Fähigkeiten

  • Completed studies as Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or similar technical disciplines
  • Technical experience with industrial process technology and/or auxiliary systems in power generation (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical role, Supply Chain Management, or Quality Management
  • Experience conducting supplier audits; knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 advantageous)
  • Strong English and German communication skills (C1), familiarity with RCA and risk management methods and willingness to travel (~30%)
