Crewing Superintendent Tankers

\n\nMy Client are seeking a Crewing Superintendent to join their Tanker department in Hamburg.

• You will be a vital part of ensuring the safety, compliance, and success of the operation
• \nReview and manage the safe manning of all tankers in your assigned fleet, adhering to safety regulations and budgetary considerations.\n\n
• \n
• \nEnsure all crew members are trained and qualified according to company, STCW, and Flag State requirements.\n\n
• \n
• \nCoordinate crew changes in compliance with Seafarers' Employment Agreements and owner preferences.\n\n
• \n
• \nHandle travel arrangements, including visa requirements, for crew members.\n\n
• \n
• \nIssue Seafarer Employment Agreements in compliance with MLC, Flag State, and National regulations.\n\n
• \n
• \nPlan crew rotation in collaboration with relevant parties.\n\n
• \n
• \nPromote and monitor crew career progression.\n\n
• \n
• \nActively recruit for open positions as needed.\n\n
• \n
• \nMaintain thorough knowledge of the Company's Management System and implement it effectively.\n\n
• \n
• \nContribute to the development and improvement of procedures.\n\n
• \n
• \nMonitor and address training needs.\n\n
• \n
• \nReview vessel disbursement accounts.\n\n
• \n
• \nMaintain comprehensive Seafarer records.\n\n
• \n
• \nHandle sickness and accidents by liaising with relevant parties.\n\n
• \n
• \nInvestigate and follow up on non-conformities, observations, and customer complaints.\n\n

• \n
• Requirements:
• \n2 years of experience in the Tanker industry with shore-side experience in a Tanker Crewing role.\n\n
• \n
• \nProficiency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.\n\n
• \n
• \nExcellent organizational and controlling skills.\n\n
