At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Medical Advisor Rheumatology (all genders).

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Global Medical Advisor to join our Global Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies in the field of rheumatology. You will act as a key medical expert, supporting internal and external stakeholders with scientific insights and ensuring the medical accuracy and integrity of all communications and activities.

Aufgaben

  • Develop and implement of medical stra­tegies and tactical plans for rheuma­tology focus areas
  • Initiate and execute tactical measures in align­ment with the medical stra­tegy
  • Build and maintain in-depth expertise in rheuma­tology
  • Conduct product-related medical trai­ning for internal stakeholders
  • Establish and nurture relation­ships with external experts and key opinion leaders
  • Process of medical enquiries
  • Conduct medical evalua­tions of new pro­duct oppor­tunities and pro­vide evidence-based recommen­dations in close coopera­tion with Business & Portfolio Develop­ment
  • Manage medical communi­cations in com­pliance with legal and com­pliance requirements

Fähigkeiten

  • Advanced degree in medicine, phar­macy or life sciences preferred; doc­torate (PhD, MD, PharmD) is an advan­tage
  • Experience in medical affairs or a related scien­tific role (e.g. clinical develop­ment) within the pharma­ceutical industry
  • Strong analytical and strate­gic thinking skills
  • Excellent communi­cation and collabora­tion abilities
  • Very good command of English
  • Ability to manage multiple pro­jects and prio­rities in a dynamic environ­ment
