We are looking for a new colleague for our location in Bad Lauterberg to start on october 1st, 2025, or by agreement.
Tool Engineer m/w/d

Aufgaben

  • As a part of our technical team you will be conducting tool qualifications and validations internally and with suppliers for the production of plastic parts in Automotive and Industrial applications
  • You will devlop, improve and provide tool standard specifications
  • You will support and discuss tool concepts and constructions with internal and external partners and customers
  • You will create initial sample inspection reports in coordination with our internal inspection department or external service providers
  • You will create correction strategies in cooperation with our internal tool shop team and external tool suppliers
  • You will support the internal sales department during the quotation phase by providing detailed concept and cost breakdowns for tools and related equipment such as injection molding machines and assembly lines
  • Change management in a regulated environment and documentation in the electronic document management system is also part of your position
  • You will be conducting technical evaluation and processing of error reports
  • You will also independently communicate with suppliers in German or English

Fähigkeiten

  • You have a degree in Engineering or as a technician in plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • You bring experience in documenting tool qualifications and tool release processes and good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Professional knowledge in the field of plastics processing and tool technology
  • Good knowledge of project management in the automotive sector
  • Good knowledge in CAD, especially in tool design and construction and manufacturing
  • Knowledge in Automotive Core Tools is an advantage
  • Experience in change management in regulated areas is an advantage
  • You bring quick comprehension and good self-organization as well as a structured, independent, and team-oriented working style. It's a plus if you have experience working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken (minimum B2-Level)
  • Willingness to travel international
