Aufgaben
- Conduct comprehensive electrical tests on MV switchgear, covering aspects such as insulation resistance, contact resistance, primary and secondary injection testing, relay checks, and partial discharge diagnostics.
- Oversee the commissioning, ongoing maintenance, and repair of MV switchgear and protection systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults within MV systems promptly and efficiently.
- Uphold stringent safety practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide expert technical support on-site during installations and system integrations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.
Fähigkeiten
- Completed vocational training or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with MV switchgear, including testing, commissioning, and field servicing.
- Expertise in using electrical testing tools (e.g., OMICRON, Megger, etc.).
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel both locally and internationally.
- Legal authorisation to work in Germany (or within the EU).
- Experience with protection relays, CTs, PTs, circuit breakers, and interlocking systems.
