Aufgaben

  • As Advanced Quality Manager (m/f/d) you will drive the Advanced Quality Culture across the EMEA region by leading quality activities for new product and process launches as well as change management. Your work will follow automotive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology, Clarios’ Power D3 launch process, and IATF 16949 standards. In this position you will be responsible for supporting the development of your direct reports through targeted feedback, coaching and structured development planning.
  • What you will do
  • As Advanced Quality Manager (m/f/d), you will lead a team of Advanced Quality Engineers in EMEA, supporting successful product and process launches across the region. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Guiding and supporting your team by overcoming roadblocks and exceeding expectations
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing for all active Simultaneous Development Teams (SDTs) in collaboration with Program Management and Quality leadership
  • Securing the necessary training and support for your team in Clarios’ Power D3 launch process, customer-specific requirements, and key quality tools such as FMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PPAP/PPA
  • Driving the professional growth of your team through structured development planning and regular feedback

  • Bachelor’s degreein a relevant field such asQualityorEngineering(required)
  • Certified Quality Auditor(e.g., ASQ, EOQ, IRCA) –advantageous
  • Trained inQuality Management Systems (QMS)standards including: ISO 9001, IATF 16949
  • Core Competencies
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP): Proven experience in implementing APQP processes across development and production phases, ensuring alignment with automotive quality standards.
  • Automotive Core Tools Proficiency: FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC.
  • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
  • Structured Problem-Solving Methodologies: 8D Reports, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagrams, 5-Why Analysis
  • Quality Management Systems: Hands-on experience in developing, auditing, and improving QMS inautomotive environments, Strong understanding ofcompliance,traceability, andcontinuous improvement
  • Technical Knowledge
  • (Lead-Acid) Battery Technology: Familiarity with design, production, and quality control oflow-voltage battery systems, Experience inautomotive battery applicationsand related testing protocols
  • Software & Tools: Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite, Skilled in standard PC applications used for quality documentation and reporting
  • Managerial & Communication Skills
  • Demonstratedleadershipin cross-functional teams within development and production settings
  • Capable ofindependent project ownershipand decision-making
  • Strongcommunication skillsfor customer-facing roles and internal collaboration
  • Fluent inEnglish;Germanlanguage skills are a plus for customer and documentation interactions
