Aufgaben
- WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- The Rework & Retrofit Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end tracking, analysis, and reporting of all rework, retrofit, and modification activities across the BOXER programme. This role ensures that technical changes, corrective actions, and field-reported issues are properly controlled, documented, and monitored through their full lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, configuration management, quality, industry partners, and customer organisations.
- Maintain a comprehensive register of all rework, retrofit, and modification activities for the BOXER vehicle and its variants.
- Track progress of open rework/retrofit tasks with industrial partners and suppliers, ensuring clear status visibility at all times.
- Coordinate the documentation flow between Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Programme Management relating to corrective actions and technical changes.
- Support the evaluation and prioritisation of rework/retrofit actions based on technical risk, customer requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare regular status reports, KPIs, and dashboards for internal management and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with configuration management rules, including version control and change documentation.
- Work with production and field support teams to verify correct implementation of retrofit kits and rework instructions.
- Support root cause analysis activities and help ensure robust corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and customer coordination groups as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tracking tools, documentation standards, and reporting processes.
Fähigkeiten
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical discipline.
- Experience within the defence industry or a highly regulated engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of product configuration, change management, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with OEMs, subcontractors, and procurement agencies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a joint-venture environment with multiple industrial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools; experience with PLM/PDM systems is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
