At Rimowa, digital transformation is at the core of modernizing operations and enhancing efficiency across our global supply chain, production, and corporate functions. We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Transformation Intern (m/f/d) for a 1-year placement to support our ongoing initiatives ranging from SAP implementations and IT/OT integration to Power BI dashboards and ERP process improvements.

The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing digital projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and exploring the latest technologies that drive operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to develop project management and technology skills in a global luxury brand environment.

Aufgaben

  • Support digital transformation projects of varying scale, including SAP implementation, ERP enhancements, IT/OT connectivity, and business analytics.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and conducting workshops with stakeholders across business and IT.
  • Coordinate project tasks and timelines using PMO best practices; take ownership of smaller project streams.
  • Coordinate development of Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and track key KPIs.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives that deliver measurable ROI in production and business processes.
  • Prepare and structure presentations, reports, and decision-making materials for senior management.
  • Collaborate with IT, production, supply chain, and business functions to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Research and benchmark new technologies, tools, and digital solutions relevant to manufacturing and enterprise operations.
  • Support vendor evaluations, project documentation, and knowledge sharing across departments.
  • Lead or co-lead small digitalization projects under guidance, applying problem-solving and structured thinking.

Fähigkeiten

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital transformation, Industry 4.0, ERP systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with Power BI, SQL, or other analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to translate technical topics into clear business insights.
  • Fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus.
