UAS Training Manager (m/f/d)

Quantum Systems specialises in the development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). The company’s range of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) sUAS are built to maximize range and versatility and to provide operators with a seamless user experience. By integrating cutting-edge software capabilities, like edge computing and real-time AI-powered data processing, Quantum Systems is building next-generation UAS for clients in defence, security, public sectors.

• As a UAV Instructor / Demo Manager, you play a key role in our Training Demo and Documentation team. You are going to be the figurehead of Quantum Systems due to close interaction with international customers during demos and/or training. Your performance as an instructor will be critical for the safe and proficient usage of the Quantum Systems product line. During demos, you are going to engage with future customers and decision-makers ensuring that they will have the best first impression of our UAS they can have. You will be embedded with the Governmental Sales team and therefore work closely together with them.
• Ensuring completion and function of UAS equipment before traveling to locations worldwide to conduct product demonstrations and/or training.
• Creation of engaging instructional materials, including manuals, presentations, and practical exercises. Maintaining this training documentation in German and English.
• Oversee hands-on flight training sessions for fixed-wing UAVs. Guide pre-flight checks, flight planning, post-flight and post-processing procedures.
• Assess trainee performance during both theoretical and practical training sessions. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to enhance skills and proficiency.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations, incorporating your prior mission experience to facilitate use cases for future customers (which range from operator up to ministerial decision-maker level).

• You have a military, police, or intelligence background – ideally with operational experience abroad.
• You are able to independently plan, conduct, and evaluate training sessions for customers from security-relevant forces and institutions (e.g., police, military, intelligence services) in German or English. A third language is an advantage.
• You have experience working with fixed-wing UAS, preferably eVTOL systems.
• You are highly motivated, responsible, and confident when presenting to demanding, security-focused audiences.
• You are willing to travel worldwide, including to countries with challenging climatic, political, or infrastructural conditions.
• You have experience training military forces and/or law enforcement agencies, preferably in an international and intercultural context.
