We have a fantastic opportunity to join BlackBerry’s global People team in Dusseldorf on a fixed term contract basis (12-14 months, maternity cover)

- Position
- As part of BlackBerry’s global People Team, you’ll be more than just an HR professional — you’ll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner for employees and managers across Germany and the wider EMEA region. This hybrid role blends the expertise of an HR Business Partner with the hands-on precision of an HR Operations Specialist, giving you the opportunity to shape both global People programs and local initiatives that truly enhance the employee experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in the employee lifecycle, ensuring our People strategies align with business goals while fostering a culture where employees thrive.

- You will
- Champion People programs: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and rewards.
- Partner with employees and leaders to guide policies, employee relations, and compliance.
- Bring local expertise: ensure programs align with German labour law and EMEA practices.
- Use data and analytics to drive workforce planning and uncover actionable insights.
- Manage employee lifecycle events, documentation, and HRIS transactions (Workday).
- Lead change: support communication and transformation initiatives across regions
Fähigkeiten
- You will have
- Proven HR experience across Operations and Business Partner/Generalist roles.
- A degree or diploma in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HRIS experience (Workday is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of German labour law and EMEA employment practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Languages: German & English (French would be an asset but not essential
