• Your tasks
• Strategic and technical leadership of development service providers and project partners through clear goal setting, effective communication, and continuous monitoring
• Effectively allocating resources, including budgeting (prototypes, investments and operating costs) for projects and personnel, to maximize productivity and efficiency within the Platform Engineering section
• Employee management and individual development
• Fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and collaboration within the team with a strong emphasis on Traton core values
• Strategic collaboration with all brands of group R&D for the joint development of transport solutions
• Ensure high-quality software and interfaces to actuators and relevant sensors; secure integration with compute and software platforms and the autonomous base vehicle
• Drive Lean/Agile ways of working and continuous improvement

• Your qualification
• Completed university degree in the field of engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or similar
• Proven leadership of engineering teams in automotive industry
• Experience in the strategic and technical management of development service providers and project partners, including goal definition, communication and monitoring
• Strong skills in people management and development, including feedback and coaching
• High social skills and the ability to promote a team culture based on integrity, respect and team spirit
• Excellent stakeholder management in multi-site, cross-brand contexts; fluent English (German a plus)
