Advisory & Financing Solutions (A&FS) is UniCredit's center of excellence for Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory and Capital Markets transactions in top-level strategic dialogues. A&FS partners with blue-chip corporate clients to achieve their strategic goals, creating solutions that shape the economies of Europe and beyond. Sector Advisory within A&FS follows an integrated industry and M&A origination and execution approach with in-depth knowledge of Telecommunication, Media & Technology; Industrials; Consumer, Healthcare & Retail as well as Natural Resources, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors for investment banking and corporate clients.

Aufgaben

  • Working alongside top professionals in the industry, you will be acting as key bridge between your analysts and your team’s senior bankers. Your role is crucial in the ideation and realization of deals, the management of our client relationships, and the supervision and training of our high-calibre analysts.
  • Deal Ideation & Analysis
  • Targeted company and market research
  • Prepare pitch books and other marketing materials
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling for M&A transactions, IPOs, and debt and equity offerings
  • Performance of company valuations, inter alia using the key methodologies of DCF, comparable companies and precedent transactions
  • Transaction Execution
  • Draft relevant deal documentation including information and offering memoranda
  • Lead due diligence, dataroom management and overall project coordination
  • In-depth interaction and communication with other deal advisors (e.g. legal, tax, commercial, environmental etc.)
  • Support the deal structuring and negotiation process to successful signing and closing
  • Team Management & Client Relations
  • Break down your senior bankers’ vision into actionable tasks, assign and review your analysts’ work
  • Support relationship management with corporate clients and financial sponsors
  • Participate in internal and client meetings and presentations
  • Train, supervise and mentor junior colleagues

Fähigkeiten

  • Minimum of three years practical experience in an investment bank, M&A boutique, or equivalent, e.g. Big Four Deal Advisory, Transaction Services or similar
  • Experience in the execution of M&A and/ or capital markets projects, including drafting of info memoranda, management presentations, due diligence preparation and organization. Robust process management skills
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Quick grasp of commercial realities. Excellent attention to detail
  • Profound practical valuation expertise
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial databases including Refinitiv, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Mergermarket
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both, German and English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong work ethic and robust commitment towards client objectives and deadlines
  • The position requires the special knowledge and reliability according to § 87 (2) WpHG (2. FiMANoG) and § 1a and § 6 WpHGMaAnzV
