• Your main goal will be to drive and execute strategic and operational Finance projects that shape how n8n scales, from systems implementation to fundraising, process transformation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• To do so, you’ll partner closely with the VP Finance and other teams across the organization to build scalable foundations for our fast-growing business.
• Support the VP Finance with managing and executing special projects, such as ERP or company-wide planning system implementations
• Prepare and execute equity financing rounds, M&A analyses, or debt financing projects
• Lead or support end-to-end delivery of high-impact initiatives that improve efficiency and transparency
• OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
• Take ownership of key Finance operating functions where needed (billing, cash management, planning cycles)
• Build and refine intra-team and cross-functional processes for smoother collaboration and communication
• Maintain and improve best practices that make Finance a proactive business partner across n8n
• BUSINESS PARTNERING & COMMUNICATION
• Act as a connector between Finance and other teams such as RevOps, Data, Product, and GTM
• Ensure consistent, transparent communication through board prep, investor updates, and internal presentations
• Support the creation and optimization of key materials, from monthly reports to team updates

• REQUIREMENTS
• Must-haves
• Strategic Finance experience: You have 5+ years in Finance roles, with at least 3 in transaction services (Big 4), investment banking, or consulting, and 2+ in strategic finance at a high-growth tech scale-up
• Corporate finance expertise: You’ve supported or executed fundraising rounds, M&A transactions, or other complex corporate finance projects
• Advanced financial modelling: You build sophisticated models for fundraising, M&A, or business scenarios with confidence and precision
• Process transformation mindset: You’ve helped design and implement systems or process improvements in scaling environments
• End-to-end project ownership: You manage complex, cross-functional projects independently and deliver measurable outcomes
• Communication & stakeholder management: You’re known for your ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable narratives
• Nice-to-haves
• SaaS metrics expertise: You understand the core drivers of SaaS businesses (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn)
• System implementation experience: You’ve worked with ERP, spend management, or billing platforms
• Automation curiosity: You’re familiar with automation tools, bonus points if you’ve played around with n8n!
