Customer Support Representative (w/m/d) – Order Management

Aufgaben

  • As a Customer Support Representative at Newport Spectra-Physics GmbH, a part of the MKS brand, you will partner with the CSR group to execute all tasks related to international order processing from A (order entry) to Z (shipping and invoicing). In this role, you will report to the Customer Support Supervisor.
  • This position is a 15‑month replacement contract, with the potential to extend or explore further opportunities within the company.
  • You Will Make an Impact By:
  • Process and manage customer orders for our Austrian production facility
  • Act as the main interface between customers and internal departments (production, planning, logistics)
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding order status, lead times, delivery dates, and product availability
  • Coordinate general order flow and ensure timely processing from entry to invoicing
  • Work with global internal stakeholders (US, Germany, Japan, Asia) involved in the delivery chain
  • Communicate with customers in Germany and Austria via email and phone
  • Support service-related processes and collaborate with colleagues to help achieve team sales and service goals
  • Identify and escalate issues where needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to maintaining standardized processes within the Order Management team

Fähigkeiten

  • Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on International Business
  • Experience in Customer Service or Order Management is an advantage (junior candidates welcome – training will be provided)
  • Fluent German (written and spoken)
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily communication with global teams
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders
  • Comfortable working in an international environment
