Business Field Manager Rail Infrastructure Track Supply (m/f/d)

• You will bear overall responsibility for results and for the strategic development of the Track Supply business field in line with the corporate strategy, and will be responsible for its sustainable orientation.
• The Track Supply business field includes the welding plants in Germany and Finland, logistics for supplying and disposing of rails and switches at track construction sites, the mobile long rail service and the one-stop shop in the Netherlands as an integrated system provider.
• You will consistently structure and develop the business field with a view to growth, profitability and international scalability, and actively drive the expansion of international business. In doing so, you will further develop the performance and service portfolio in line with market requirements and translate customer requirements into concrete, implementable services.
• You will take on the technical leadership of the international segment managers. In close coordination with the respective country managers, you will act as a strategic partner in the development of their segments in line with uniform processes.
• You will manage the business field based on key performance indicators and be responsible for global budget planning and control, including investment decisions in line with strategic objectives.
• As the central interface between sales, country managers and operational segments, you will ensure optimal capacity utilisation and a consistent market presence across all countries, and promote the exchange of best practices within the business field.
• In addition, you will foster a high-performing, motivated and internationally oriented organisational culture.

• Completed university degree, e.g. in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of international leadership and management experience, ideally with responsibility for results or P&L in the railway industry.
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to strategically develop a business field and scale it globally.
• Experience in matrix organisations and in managing complex international structures.
• Very good analytical skills and confidence in using key performance indicators for management purposes.
• Business fluent English (at least C1), other languages an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally and strong communication skills in a global environment.
