We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Director Business Development EMEA (m/f/d) – OEM and Licensing for Protein Technology to drive the company’s growth in OEM, Licensing, and Strategic Supply Partnerships across the region.
Our client is a leading provider of life science products for research and diagnostics, dedicated to enabling high‑quality scientific work around the world. The company is expanding dynamically – both organically and through targeted acquisitions – with a central headquarters and production site in the UK as well as subsidiaries throughout Europe.
As a key leader in international business development, you will shape the commercial growth strategy, build strategic partnerships in biotech, diagnostics, and biopharma, and expand OEM, white‑label, licensing, and supply agreements. You will manage revenue, pipeline, and margin targets in close collaboration with global teams.

Aufgaben
- In this role, you will take full ownership of the OEM and Licensing business across EMEA and will continue to grow it further:
- Define and execute the EMEA strategy to expand partnerships and strategic supply agreements.
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new business opportunities in biotech, diagnostics, and adjacent markets.
- Lead high‑level commercial negotiations and close complex partnership agreements.
- Manage regional revenue, business development pipeline, and growth targets.
- Work closely with Legal, Regulatory, Product Management, and Global Sales teams.
- Gradually build and lead a regional business development team.

- 15+ years of international Business Development experience across EMEA
- Proven track record in structuring and closing complex OEM or licensing agreements
- Strong negotiation and closing skills at executive level (C‑suite)
- Deep understanding of life sciences technologies (antibodies, proteins, assays)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, pragmatism, and hands‑on sales engagement (“owning and extending a business”)
- Ambitious Business Development Managers (m/f/d) – professionals from the OEM life science environment ready to take the next step into greater responsibility.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Business Development or Key Account Management, including OEM and licensing deals
- Proven experience working with major biotech, diagnostics, or biopharma customers
- Solid technical and commercial understanding; confident in contract negotiations
- Strong motivation to grow into a leadership role in the near future
