Industrial Solutions Engineer m/f/d

JSP is quoted on the Tokyo stock exchange and is a worldwide leader and specialist in EPP manufacturing and plastic transformation (injection moulding, extrusion, blow moulding) delivering solutions for many sectors including Automotive, HVAC, transportation, sporting goods and more.

We are looking for an Industrial Solutions Engineer to support the implementation of our industrial digital solutions in manufacturing environments. In this role, you will help customers improve their production processes by enabling data-driven solutions, connecting industrial equipment, and ensuring reliable data acquisition across the shopfloor.

• Assess customer machines and systems to understand data availability and define integration requirements.
• Understand the customer’s production processes to identify challenges and needs that support effective integration of our solutions.
• Bring our solutions to new industries and contribute to the definition of new features.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, IT teams) to resolve integration challenges, enable data availability and deploy the gateway on-site.
• Ensure successful rollout by configuring the application and training users.
• Document integrations and standardise setups to support scalable and repeatable deployments.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar)
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, working with machines, production systems, or industrial equipment.
• Experience or awareness of information security aspects when it comes to data transfer and the importance of integrity when processing customer data.
• Basic understanding of how to access data from machines and systems (e.g. PLCs, OPC-UA, APIs, or similar)
• Experience working with different stakeholders (customers, suppliers, IT teams) and coordinating technical topics.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain things clearly and build trust with both technical and non-technical people.
• Proactive and independent way of working, with the ability to handle unclear situations and move topics forward.
• Enjoys working on-site at customer locations and traveling regularly.
