Aufgaben
- In the role as Global Head of CMO & Partner Management, you provide strategic, disciplinary, and operational leadership for global CMO, partner, vendor, and contract management, ensuring that all external collaborations operate within a robust, future-ready oversight framework and remain aligned with the organization’s scientific, operational, and strategic objectives.
- Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management
- Lead and develop a global cross-functional team with full disciplinary and functional responsibility, including resource allocation, budget planning, and serving as the final escalation point for all partner-related matters.
- CMO & Partner Oversight Governance
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the global oversight framework for CMOs, vendors, and external partners, including SOPs, governance structures, and digital management tools.
- Performance & Risk Management
- Monitor partner and CMO performance through KPIs, scorecards, and trend analyses to identify risks early and implement corrective and escalation measures proactively.
- Governance & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead governance, QRM, and BRM meetings while coordinating cross-functional assessments across Science, Supply, Regulatory Compliance, and other key functions.
- Contract & Compliance Management
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with external partners while ensuring compliance with global regulations, GMP/GDP standards, and internal company policies.
- Strategic Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with CMOs, vendors, and partners while continuously driving operational efficiency and collaboration quality.
- Executive Stakeholder Management & Decision Support
- Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and external partners and prepare strategic decision-making materials for senior leadership.
Fähigkeiten
- Academic Qualification & Industry Expertise
- Master’s degree in a natural science discipline combined with more than 10 years of experience in CMO, partner, or vendor management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Leadership & Organizational Influence
- More than 10 Years of extensive leadership experience managing large, cross-functional organizations across multiple hierarchical levels, including indirect leadership and conflict resolution in complex environments.
- Governance & Regulatory Expertise
- Deep expertise in governance frameworks, oversight structures, and contract management within GMP/GDP-regulated environments.
- Analytical & Strategic Competence
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate KPI data, risk indicators, and market trends into clear strategic recommendations and actions.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, including experience moderating governance, QRM, and BRM meetings in regulated pharmaceutical settings.
- Digital & Process Management Mindset
- Familiarity with digital tools and systems supporting CMO oversight, partner performance management, and operational excellence initiatives.
