Nurse or Medical Assistant (m/f/d)

Set in the city of Bonn, Germany, on the Rhine River, BIS enjoys a well-resourced, purpose-built campus with generous playgrounds and green spaces.

Starting : August 2026 (initial 2-year contract)
Working Hours : Part-time, 24h/week
Salary Placement : Dependent on years of experience and based on in-house tariff agreement

• To promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people in your care and adhere to the school’s Child Protection policies
• To assess, treat and refer student’s injuries and illnesses that occur during the school day
• To administer emergency treatment to students and staff maintaining a suitable and well-equipped school medical centre
• To maintain and provide on request detailed internal records, including a daily log
• To ensure that parents and teachers are informed of illnesses or injuries and the action taken
• To contact parents to notify them of student illness/injury and arrange for students to be picked up where necessary
• To administer student medication during the school day with written instruction from parents or a medical doctor

• Nursing degree or medical assistant qualification preferred
• Experience working independently in a medical field
• Friendly and pro-active customer service
• High-level oral and written communication skills in English and German
