For our Volkswagen customer site in Germany , we are looking for a Technical Service Specialist who will act as the technical interface between Axalta and the customer, ensuring flawless application, quality, and continuous improvement of our products in production.

Axalta may use technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support certain aspects of the recruitment and selection process. These tools may be used to help manage applications, identify job-related qualifications, and assist recruiter review. All hiring decisions involve human oversight and review.
Aufgaben
- ### Your Role
- You will be responsible for the execution, monitoring, and optimization of Axalta product application at the customer plant, ensuring stable processes, high product quality, and strong technical collaboration with the customer.
- ### Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with Environment, Health & Safety regulations on site
- Provide technical direction and hands‑on support to Axalta and customer teams regarding Axalta products and application processes
- Optimize application and process setups for best possible product performance
- Respond to complex technical questions and process-related issues
- Analyze product and process data and propose quality improvement measures
- Monitor and adjust product properties (e.g. viscosity, pH value) and application parameters as required
- Track key quality indicators (appearance, gloss, color measurement, etc.) and implement corrective actions
- Analyze product defects and document quality incidents
- Support the introduction of new Axalta products, including full technical documentation
- Represent Axalta in technical customer meetings
- Prepare accurate technical reports and demand‑planning related data (forecast, consumption, stock levels)
- Manage material stock and ordering to ensure uninterrupted production
- Collaborate closely with Axalta and customer technical and manufacturing teams
- Take on additional reasonable responsibilities as required
Fähigkeiten
- University degree (preferably in a technical discipline)
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations
- Solid understanding of Axalta products and application methods
- Experience with coating measurement systems (e.g. WaveScan, color position, gloss, hardness)
- Proven experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, and color adjustments
- Strong communication skills across all levels of a customer organization
- Structured, self‑motivated team player with a hands‑on mindset
