Accountant

CTP in Rellingen is looking for an English-speaking proactive and detail-oriented Accountant! Cargo Trans Pool (CTP) is an integrated logistics provider delivering complete transport chains from origin to end consumer – from the source location, via sea freight, to the point where products are ready to be used. Building on decades of shipping and logistics expertise, CTP combines maritime, inland and value-added services into one coordinated solution.

You will be joining an international finance team of 7 colleagues split across Rellingen, Germany and Rotterdam, Netherlands. Are you our next team member? We would like you to start as soon as possible.

• Playing an important role in the transition from Datev to SAP;
• Manage day-to-day financial administration, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank bookings, and general ledger entries;
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with HGB/IFRS;
• Handle monthly and year-end closing processes, including bank reconciliations;
• Responsible for the debtors and creditors administration;
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in the international finance team and act as a central point of contact for administrative questions from the business units.

• A completed degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
• Several years of relevant experience as an Accountant or similar role;
• Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial processes; experience with closing procedures is a plus;
• Your communication is clear and you are a team player who enjoys helping your colleagues;
• Structured, accurate, and hands-on working style;
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
