To ensure that we can continue our successful development in the future, we are looking for a committed and motivated individual to fill the following position as soon as possible:

School nurse (m/f/d) part-time (24 hours/60%)

• You look after our students in age groups from Kindergarten to Grade 12. You provide acute healthcare for our students in the form of first aid in the event of accidents and illnesses. You are the designated person of trust for all health matters. Your area of responsibility includes the emotional support of our students, as well as infection prevention, with a focus on passing on important information to parents and our staff. You will work closely with the public health department and other authorities in Hesse. You also compile statistics, reports, and medical records.
• We are full-day school from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Your hours of employment and those of a second school nurse will cover school’s Health Center hours from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (no weekend work).

• You are a qualified pediatric nurse. Alternatively, you have qualified as a registered pediatric nurse to become a school health specialist.
• Professional experience in providing health care for children, especially in an English-speaking environment, at a school or educational institution is an advantage. Further training in the pedagogical field and on the topics of inclusion, child welfare, health promotion, and sex education are also desirable. You are familiar with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• You are empathetic towards students and create an atmosphere of trust. You are proactive, work in a structured manner, and value the presentation of details. You see yourself as part of a pedagogical and administrative network. You are communicative and have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
