Project Support China (m/f/d)

enmodes GmbH is a med-tech company founded in 2011 in Aachen. With around 50 employees, we develop ECMO systems for various markets worldwide. In 2017, we were awarded as the EU’s most innovative med-tech company. In 2025, our first medical device—an ECMO system—was approved in China through our sister company; further products are currently in development and/or undergoing approval processes in China and Europe. In this context, we are looking for a person with strong technical understanding who works at the interface between Europe and China and can confidently bridge language, culture, and technical requirements equally effectively.

• Supporting the China liaison with all delegated tasks in the technical and organizational area at the interface with China
• Coordinating and tracking technical as well as organizational information (e.g., blood test results) between Germany and China
• Internal distribution of shipments from China, e.g., technical components
• Translating and linguistically editing technical and scientific documents as required (German/English/Chinese)
• Communicating cultural aspects to promote smooth and respectful international collaboration
• Supporting project tracking by maintaining and updating project plans as specified/required

• Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences, e.g., mechanical engineering, medical engineering/biomedical engineering, life sciences, or similar
• Native Chinese speaker; very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
• Strong intercultural competence and a good sensitivity to cultural differences in an international work environment
• Structured, self-reliant, and meticulous way of working
• Confident user of MS Office; experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and a high willingness to collaborate across disciplines
• Knowledge/experience in laboratory testing of medical devices is an advantage
• Outgoing personality and highly motivated
• Willingness to travel approx. 4 weeks per year
