• Assume responsibility for the product master data through the full product lifecycle, from creation to end of life.
• Accountable for the coordination and timely completion of the new product creation process.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement across processes and procedures for managing, maintaining and validating material master data.
• Load the master data into SAP based on ad-hoc or regular requests.
• Perform detailed data validation and accuracy checks including data error handling and compliance with standards.
• Report regularly on data management processes and suggest improvements.
• Maintain the EMEA Product Hierarchy.
• Manage the material sales statuses throughout the product lifecycle.
• Verify and load the packaging, WEEE and battery data to SAP.
• Report to governance the units of measure and packaging and create actions to follow up on gaps and issues.
• Identify process and data handling improvements for logistical data and support the implementation of approved improvements.
• Provide problem-solving support, advice and guidance to internal customers.
• Use data analytics to answer key business questions by providing qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Ensure that all master data processes are well documented and stored.
• Lead some improvement projects within the DMG team.
• Participate in larger cross-functional projects as subject matter consultant.

• Experience in working with product master data, preferably transactional data input and analysis.
• Solid working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with a track record of engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the product lifecycle is highly desirable.
• Analytical and problem-solving competence.
• Detailed and accurate working style.
• Motivation and ability to deal with high levels of complexity.
• Interest in master data management and a desire to learn.
• Commitment towards customer-oriented service.
• Comfortable pushing back with customers and stakeholders to protect data integrity.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• A university degree level or equivalent professional experience is desirable.
• Willingness to travel within Europe as required by the role.
