Aufgaben
- About the Role
- As a Marine Electrical Engineer, you will be a significant key to the function of our Quantum Maritime Engineering Team.
- Based in Rostock, you’ll collaborate with a growing team of engineers, mechanics, and leaders as we scale to 100+ maritime experts over the next 12 months. As an Electrical Engineer, your role is to drive a Systems Engineering process for all electrical system definition, wiring, and outfitting, as well as sensor integration within our USVs and UUVs.
- You will work closely with your colleagues from mechanical engineering as well as with the stakeholders from the central hardware and software development to integrate the core technology of Quantum Systems in the maritime products. With the implementation of a production-ready design, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for sea and underwater data collection solutions with unmanned surface vessels (USV) and unmanned underwater vessels (UUV).
- What is your Day to Day Mission:
- Develop block diagrams of all electrical systems
- Creating the multi-line diagrams and connection plans
- Design cable trees for pre-production
- Develop the automation system and program the automation software in close cooperation with the Software Implementation Engineer
- Create test procedures for setting to work
- Create the Bill of Materials for all electrical systems in close cooperation with the Supply Chain
- Create design solutions to support different configurations within the product platforms
Fähigkeiten
- You have a degree in the field of electrical and automation engineering
- You already have at least 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering in serial ship design
- You are skilled in EPLAN or similar systems
- You are interested in bringing technology to the next level
- You are open, communicative, very friendly and competent manner makes it easy for you to be seen as an internal expert.
- You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility forward independently.
- Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
