Aufgaben
- Oversee daily operations for outgoing and incoming payments including ACH, wire transfers, SEPA, SWIFT, BACS and instant/faster payments.
- Ensure timely processing, posting, and support during reconciliation of all payment transactions.
- Manage relationships with payment processors, financial institutions, and third-party vendors.
- Monitor fraud indicators and support risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with compliance teams.
- Analyze payment data and prepare operational and financial performance reports.
- Drive automation and system improvements to optimize transaction processing workflows.
- Oversee all aspects of item processing including check deposits, returns, corrections, and clearing operations.
- Coordinate balancing, support reconciliation, and exception handling for all processed items.
- Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new tools related to item processing.
Fähigkeiten
- You are a flexible, logical and analytical thinker and fluent in oral and written German and English.
- You are team-oriented, have a structured, and proactive working style, the ability to work and remain calm under pressure and proven management/leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of payment networks, digital payment systems, payment processors, core banking systems and reconciliation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations and industry standards related to payments and financial operations.
- Programming skills and a deep understanding of the IT infrastructure for financial systems.
