Aufgaben
- As OceanScore’s Chief of Staff, you are the operational backbone to our MDs and a key member of the management team. You bring structure, focus, and follow-through to our fast-growing organization. Your mission is to turn priorities into execution — connecting strategy, operations, and people. You oversee internal governance, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure that projects and decisions move from idea to impact.
- This role sits at the intersection of strategy, internal operations, and communication, shaping how OceanScore grows and scales sustainably.
- Your Key Responsibilities
- Operational governance: Design and maintain our internal operating model to drive organisational maturity; including management meetings, meeting cadences, OKR cycles, and reporting frameworks.
- Financial coordination: Ensure data-driven decision-making by structuring reporting processes, preparing shareholder and board updates, in collaboration with Finance as well as supporting preparations for future financing round(s).
- Confidential liaison: Act as a trusted sparring partner to the Managing Directors and management team, providing critical input, ensuring follow-through on decisions, and maintaining discretion on sensitive matters.
- Internal Project management: Lead special company-wide, cross functional projects such as ISO certification, implementing new tools or systems in cooperation with expert teams, or other strategic transformation projects.
- Cross-functional coordination & communication: Strengthen information flow and collaboration across teams by owning and proactively optimizing the tech stack that supports efficient cross-departmental work.
- Success in This Role Will Be Measured By
- Process Maturity: Well established meeting cadences, effective meetings and clear ownership of OKR cycles. State of the art internal and external reporting.
- Strategic Execution: Successful delivery of cross-functional projects (ISO, IT, etc.) against agreed objectives, timelines and budgets.
- Enhanced organisational alignment: Improved follow-through of key decisions and initiatives.

- What You Bring
- Experience in a fast-paced, international start-up or scale-up, ideally in a commercial, operations, or strategy role.
- A structured and analytical mindset to turn complexity into clarity.
- Strong financial literacy and comfort with data, reporting, and decision support.
- Demonstrated success in establishing scalable structures and frameworks (e.g., OKRs, operating models, or company cadences).
- Excellent project management skills and experience being a thought leader on cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in English; German a plus.
