As Global Head of Presales Consulting , you will drive technical wins and accelerate enterprise deals by ensuring our solutions fit customer needs and deliver measurable business impact. You will define the global presales model, lead a high-performing team, and partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to influence strategy, shape solutions, and position the company as the trusted technical advisor to key customers worldwide.

Global Head of Presales Consulting (m/f/d)!

Aufgaben

  • Define presales engagement model by segment and stage (discovery, demo, POC/Pilot, value engineering).
  • Build industry and solution playbooks; curate demo assets, reference architectures, ROI models.
  • Create a global POC governance (success criteria, entrance/exit gates, resourcing, post-mortems).
  • Partner with Product on competitive strategy and with Marketing on solution messaging.
  • Establish technical win/lose analysis and continuous demo instrumentation.
  • Develop a global lab/environment strategy; ensure security/compliance for demos.
  • Career paths and enablement for SCs; certification program; communities of practice.
  • Forecast and allocate presales capacity; implement request-to-engage process with SLAs.
  • Success Metrics
  • Technical win rate and overall conversion by stage.
  • Cycle time reduction to technical validation.
  • POC success rate and cost-to-close within guardrails.
  • Attach rate of multi-product solutions; competitive displacement wins.
  • Pipeline coverage per SC; SLA adherence; enablement certifications completed.

Fähigkeiten

  • 10+ years in sales, pre-sales, or commercial roles with cross-functional leadership experience
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, coaching, and change management
  • Expertise in sales lifecycle, bid governance, cost estimation, and margin control
  • Proficiency with CRM, ERP, CPQ, and project management tools
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with resilience under pressure
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Knowledge of product portfolio, competitive landscape, and value proposition design
