Quality Technician Automotive – Powertrain Systems (m/f/d)

• Assume responsibility for field quality issues related to powertrain components
• Monitor and analyze warranty and quality information data for ICE & (P)HEV systems to address field quality issues early
• Initiate and conduct claim part and field investigations for root cause identification of ICE- & (P)HEV-related quality issues
• Collaborate with R&D, factories and suppliers to support countermeasure development and validation processes
• Prepare technical reports and summaries based on investigations’ results
• Detect and benchmark competitor trends and new powertrain technology

• State-certified technician degree with a focus on electrical/automotive engineering or master technician degree with relevant work experience
• Professional experience in a similar role with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier advantageous
• Strong technical knowledge, diagnostic expertise, and understanding of repair methods for ICE and (P)HEV powertrains, as well as related 12V systems
• Diagnostic experience with automated transmission systems advantageous
• Familiarity with automotive measurement software (ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, etc.) beneficial
• Proficiency in common MS Office applications
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and time management skills as well as analytical way of thinking with a drive to deliver results
• Self-motivated and flexible personality with a strong interest in working within an international team
• Willingness for regular business travel within Germany and Europe
• Valid European driving license (class B)
