Aufgaben
- Own the end-to-end manufacturing process for complex electronic and electromechanical systems, including assembly, integration, routing and interconnection, termination, and acceptance testing
- Lead industrialization and New Product Introduction (NPI) for new hardware systems, including control plans, process capability studies, and production validation
- Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Define and manage investments in tooling, test equipment, fixtures, workstations, and measurement systems
- Own production planning, including cost, schedule, and capacity; drive forecasting, optimization, and continuous improvement of takt time, throughput, and resource utilization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, R&D, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing and testing into product development
- Monitor ongoing production and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
- Engineers with backgrounds in automotive E/E industrialization, complex electronics manufacturing, or other regulated hardware environments typically ramp up quickly in this role
Fähigkeiten
- 7+ years of experience in industrialized production of complex, safety-critical hardware systems (e.g., electronics, electromechanical assemblies, or integrated systems), ideally within regulated manufacturing environments
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Proven ownership of production processes in industrial settings (e.g., automotive, EV, aerospace, defense, high-tech, or similarly regulated industries)
- Strong expertise in electrical/electronic integration, including interconnects, wiring/harnessing, cabling concepts, connectors, shielding, routing, termination methods, testing, and system integration
- Hands-on experience in creating, optimizing, or restructuring production procedures and work instructions
- Solid background in lean manufacturing and risk assessment methodologies
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex assembly issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Project management skills, including effective communication skills
